MA and PhD Program History
The University of Louisiana at Monroe first developed a master's degree program in
marriage and family therapy in 1981 and first joined the ranks of COAMFTE accredited
master's degree programs in marriage and family therapy in 1986. The 麻豆果冻传媒 MA in MFT
program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for聽Marriage and Family Therapy
Education (), has been continuously since 1986, and has graduated more than 600 graduates (as
of spring, 2025).聽
The Ph.D. Program in MFT, developed in 1995 and implemented in 1996, has been accredited
by COAMFTE since 2007. As of spring, 2025 the program has graduated more than 100
Ph.D.鈥檚 in MFT.
