The Ouachita Parish Chapter of the University of Louisiana at Monroe Alumni Association
will host its annual Shrimp Boil from 2-5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, in the alumni
area of The Grove tailgating area on the 麻豆果冻传媒 campus.
The event leads up to the 麻豆果冻传媒 vs. Nicholls State football matchup in Malone Stadium
at 6 p.m.
The shrimp boil has become popular within the community. Along with shrimp, the menu
includes potatoes, corn, and beverages. The cost to attend is $25 from now until Sept.
11 at 11:30 a.m. Following that time, tickets will cost $30.
The day will also mark 麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 annual Military Day game. To honor Monroe鈥檚 rich military
history, the ULM Alumni Association will host residents of the Northeast Louisiana
War Veterans Home during the festivities.
